PERFORMANCE MEETS AFFORDABILITY

What is a "bolt pattern" ?

Wide technical diagram comparing four-lug and five-lug wheel bolt patterns, with red measurement arrows and 4x156 and 5x127 examples.

A wheel’s bolt pattern (also known as lug pattern or PCD – Pitch Circle Diameter) refers to two key things: the number of lug holes and the diameter of the circle they form.

For example, a 5x127 bolt pattern means the wheel has 5 lug holes arranged in a circle with a 127mm diameter. A 4x156 bolt pattern means the wheel has 4 lug holes arranged in a circle with a 156mm diameter.

Why Bolt Pattern Matters
Choosing wheels with the correct bolt pattern is crucial for safety, fitment, and performance. A mismatched pattern won’t fit your vehicle properly — and attempting to force it can lead to serious issues like vibration, poor handling, or even wheel failure while driving.
